How this is calculated

  1. Start from each laser’s base stats (Max / Min / Extraction Power and multiplier traits).
  2. Multiply Active Max Power by every equipped module’s Mining Laser Power factor — Surge at 1.50, Stampede at 1.35, etc. all assume their consumables are firing.
  3. Roll up the resistance multiplier across the whole rig: M = laser × modules × gadget. Sabir / OptiMax shrink M; BoreMax raises it.
  4. Effective rock resistance Reff = R × M — a 50% rock against a Helix II + Surge + Sabir rig reads as roughly 0.50 × 0.298 ≈ 14.9%.
  5. Per-head Max Rock Mass = 5 · Pactive · (1 − Reff). For Mole’s three heads, sum the per-head values — each head bites the rock simultaneously.
